I am 19 years old, but I have been called very mature for my age. I am a junior at Sac state, and currently living in the off-campus dorms. My major is Therapeutic Recreation. I am a nature freak, and work and play with Peak Adventures on campus, doing outdoor trips and training at the ropes course. (hiking, camping, backpacking, whitewater rafting!) I have a car, but I am environmentally conscious so I ride my clunker of a bike as much as possible. (I also recycle and eat leftovers when I probably shouldn't..) 420 friendly. I am not lazy or dirty. I am responsible and respectful. I can be mellow, goofy, and optimistic. I will tell you if something bothers me and would be thankful if everyone did the same.
My living space has some clutter, but when it comes to DIRTY clothes, dishes, and messes in general, you won't see them if I can help it. I cook a lot, and keep a clean kitchen. I tend to have pretty full days an am in bed around 11 every night to be able to get up at 9. This sometimes includes the weekends depending on whether I'm working or not.
I love caring for living things: I have some flowering plants, basil, mint, and a tomato plant that I'm in love with.
As for music, I'm currently listening to Castles made of Sand by Jimi Hendrix. Led Zeppelin, Cream, Aerosmith, Black Sabbath all define me well, but my taste wanders from Afroman and Kotton Mouth Kings to Coldplay and the soundtrack of the movie Amelie. (Watch it if you haven't!) Other movies that I consider kick-ass are Snatch, (same producer as Fight Club, but that movie's a little cliche to mention as a favorite nowadays) O Brother Where Art Thou, and Ratatouille.
I love art and making art but my schedule and budget does not allow this as a hobby for me.
I desperately want to live in midtown because I heard the area is 'decidedly leftist', a frame of mind that's been rather elusive these last two years at Sac State. I've had some trouble finding friends that aren't steeped in the bay area culture and even more trouble finding mature, considerate roomates. Currently I am living in the off-campus dorms.
